PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Qadash is made up of six trimesters spanning over two-years. Students will meet on Tuesday evenings for Three hours. Each trimester will contain ten Tuesday class sessions and end with a Saturday single-day "seminar" styled event.
There are four tracks of study within Qadash.
These are:
1. Biblical Knowledge
2. Personal Development
3. Spiritual Development
4. Leadership Skills
Each trimester will have a primary and secondary track emphasis. For example, trimester five has a primary focus on Biblical Knowledge with a secondary emphasis on Spiritual Development. The trimester-ending seminar will be given to the selected primary track emphasis for that trimester.
Students will be expected to:
The cost of the program including books, supplies and seminar fees is $195.00 per trimester. Couples who enroll and share the study texts can do so for $240.00 per trimester. An additional path exists which allows people to audit the course. Auditing students are not required to complete homework and no mentoring is offered. The cost per trimester is $75.00 plus any textbooks which can be purchased individually. A limited scholarship fund exists to assist students with financial needs.
Entry into the program will be in January at the first and fourth trimester. The first trimester is foundational to the program, addressing the essential preparedness of the student and his or her spouse for completing the requirements. Students who start in the fourth trimester will be required to attend a two-hour orientation prior to attending regular classes. A simple application followed by an interview will allow entrance into Qadash.
At the conclusion of the first year, students feeling a call to vocational ministry may apply to take part in a ministry internship as they complete their second year. As the Holy Spirit directs, they can continue in a place of leadership at The City Church or they will be assisted with placement in another Foursquare church, sent off on missions work or encouraged along the path of leading or assisting a church planting team.
